ENJOY KAWAKAWA BAY

A heavenly destination for outdoor lifestyles

For the more adventurous, head straight for FourFourty, Auckland's premier downhill gravity-fed mountain park. It's pure adrenaline.

If peace and quiet with exquisite natural scenery is more your scene, you will be spoiled for choice with our stunning regional parks and tranquil beaches.

Tawhitokina Beach park can only be entered at low tide; after a ramble through some native bush, you will find a spectacular beach and campground - it's even more stunning at Christmas when the pohutukawa trees are in their crimson bloom. The Pohutukawa Kayak trail delivers an even more spectacular view with its secluded beachside campgrounds.

Waitawa Regional Park is a great spot to launch a kayak, explore coastal walks and mountain bike trails, cast off from the recreational fishing peer or try your hand at frisbee golf. They also have free gas BBQs!
